Weapons: A magical Shikomizue that can conduct electricity. (It's disguised in the form of small tube which is actually the handle. The blade spring when he wills it. Only Raiju can make it work.) His brother has one just like it, but it catches fire, not lightning.

In human form he looks like a regular guy (with snow colored). He looks extremely scary when angry, and his eyes tend to glow. He has very sharp canines as well, and he bares them when upset.

His wolf form is rather unlike most due to his father's odd "taste" in women. His mother was a lightning spirit, and it definitely shows in Raiju. His wolf form is blue with lightning dancing along the fur, which is blue. He also has a rather bushy tail. He has very large fangs as well.

General Personality: 

Raiju maintains a very detached personality, and cares little for the pains of others. He keeps his brother under control less for other's safety than for Hiju's own. His brother is the only person he really cares about other than his parents.

Raiju has another problem though: he has intense bouts of irrationality and recklessness. He gets a big smile on his face like he's insane, then just looses it. He'd destroy the sun itself if he got the chance.

Raiju is the only one who can calm his brother, and the opposite is often the case when Raiju experiences his bouts of insanity.



History: 

Raiju grew up with his half brother Hiju, their parents leaving the two alone for much of their childhood. Their father was busy most of the time keeping both his wives occupied or fighting monsters who threatened the pack. 

Raiju spent a lot of time with his mother, who was very detached herself. The two of them did very little talking, and this probably lead to Raiju's detached personality. What time he spent with Hiju's mother was spent doing things children his age would normally do, such as arts-and-crafts and such.

Raiju would often end up defending Hiju from bullies in his younger years, and often stopped him from getting in trouble in his later years. 

Raiiju and his brother received their weapons when they turned 150 and finally left home. Hiju was extremely excited about their future adventures, but his brother had much more realistic expectations. What was the most surprising was that Hiju was actually correct, and their adventures ended up being much more spectacular than either realized.

A prophecy was given to the brothers during their adventures, that said "Oh ye brothers of blood yet naught, beware the fiery shock of the blackened blot, for those who wield the elemental fury of sky and flame, thy life shall never truly remain the same. Of all the lessons you may yet learn, none shall compare to the heart's desperate yearn. In the flames and in the clouds, ye two shall be known for thunderous sounds. Thy flames shall lick and lightning strike, but thy powers are naught in the giant's sight."
